About Blyde River Canyon
Blyde River Canyon is one of the world\’s largest canyons and Africa\’s largest green canyon, stretching 26km with depths of up to 800m. Located in Mpumalanga province, the canyon is part of the famous Panorama Route and features some of South Africa\’s most dramatic scenery. The canyon is home to hippos, crocodiles and a rich variety of wildlife. Key highlights include the Three Rondavels, God\’s Window and Bourke\’s Luck Potholes — cylindrical rock formations carved by centuries of swirling water.

By Road
From Johannesburg take the N4 highway east towards Nelspruit.
Turn north onto the R532 towards Graskop to access the Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon.
